The importance of hydration

We often read about the importance of healthy diet and regular exercise when it comes to enhanced school performance, however there is not enough emphasis around the relevant of hydrating oneself. When I write hydrating, I don’t mean just drinking anything liquid which might give the feeling of being ok, I am actually referring to the amount of water that we need to intake in order for our body and mind to perform at its best. Indeed, it is not when our body asks us to hydrate it that we should drink water (at this point the body is already running out of water), but in reality, just like we breathe, eat and exercise at regular time intervals so should we also drink often in order to keep the amount of water in our body stable. In fact, we are made of more than 70% of water and we expel a significant amount of it when we breathe, sweat, cry or when we simply blink our eyes. Therefore, we need to regain the lost liquids and there is no better way to do than by drinking a big glass of still water. Water contains hydrogen and oxygen which once in our blood will instantly improve our physical and mental state making us capable of performing at our best.

In conclusion make sure that yourself and your kids carry around and drink enough water for the day! You will feel the difference with the enhanced results both at work and in school!

  1. Nice article and thank you for the reminder of drinking more water.
But which kind of water ? As you know, not all water are created equals. Many have Endokrine Disruptoren like BPA, chlorine, rust, pesticides….

I will make a comparison with a nice fresh juice cold press in the morning and a plastic bottle juice bought from the store.
I’m sure you will not have the best drinking one vs the other.

So which water do you recommend ?

    1. Hi Romain thanks very much for your comment. Indeed it is very important to talk about hydration because when we talk about healthy lifestyle we often mention nutrition, exercices and meditation but we almost never read or hear about drinking water. The reality it is not just about drinking enough water but (again another rarely mentioned fact) also about the quality of water that we drink. As you mention there is not only polluants that disrupt our endocrine system to be taken into account when we talk about tap water (in particular) but also the plastic particles that we ingest when drinking bottled water. So one might ask is there anything we can do about all this? The answer is yes and the two magic words are Kangen Water! Indeed this is the highest quality water that can provide hydration, anti-oxydation and anti-inflammation effects on your body, while making sure you do not use plastic bottles!
Romain would you like to please share more with me and the readers about Kangen Water?
